“I read in a book once that a rose by any other name would smell as sweet, but I’ve never been able to believe it. I don’t believe a rose WOULD be as nice if it was called a thistle or a skunk cabbage.”
― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
My head and heart were engaged in the meeting but not my hands. So, I formed a rose from miniature peanut butter cup foils. The soft skritchy skritch sound of the foil might have been a distraction to my husband beside me. Temporarily. I felt better when I was done.
Isn’t it so satisfying to take something simple and make something beautiful of it? (Not that peanut butter cups aren’t beautiful all on their own!!)
