It’s a fun and relaxing project that can be full of praise or is conducive to simply thinking or meditating on a verse. And then the charms jingle and sparkle every time you pick up your journal.

We made bookmarks at our Recess With Jesus and Roxbury Holiness Camp Bible Journaling Retreat several years ago and they turned out so beautifully. The ladies put a lot of thought into their ribbon bookmarks and had some very meaningful time processing some things with Jesus with a bit of ribbon and some sparkling charms. I was very blessed to have some of them share their stories with me when they were finished.
